Pend Oreille County is one of wildest areas of the state, home to the Salmo-Priest Wilderness; Sullivan Lake and the mighty north-flowing Pend Oreille River. The county is also home to a sizable chunk of the Colville National Forest, and includes several other wildlands, including those managed by the Kalispel Tribe of Indians and an extensive county park. Hikers will have no problem finding just the trail for their adventure!
