Lake Leo Trail #155

The 2.8 mile Lake Leo Trail is found on the south side of Hwy 20 on the very western edge of the Pend Oreille County line. This trail is part of the Frater Lake Trail System, and there is plenty of parking, a vault toilet and information at the Frater Lake Trailhead just across the street. This an easy, relatively flat loop that will take to the southeast shore of Lake Leo. You’ll be able to spot the boat launch and campsite on the opposite side of the lake. For a longer hike, just add on sections of the Frater Lake Trail System and enjoy! This trail is also a favorite of Nordic skiers and snowshoers in the winter.
