Grassy Top Trail #503

The trailhead for the Grassy Top Trail #503 at Pass Creek Pass is small, with room for just a few vehicles. By driving to this point you have already tackled much of the elevation change on your way to Grassy Top. The summit of Grassy Top is just about 4 miles from the trailhead. You can choose to continue on the trail to the North Fork Harvey Creek trailhead, about 4 more miles. This section is rougher and more difficult.

Trail users will experience spectacular views of the surrounding peaks in the Selkirk Mountains. They will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife ranging from common whitetail deer to endangered woodland caribou and threatened grizzly bear. Other species of interest are bighorn sheep, moose, elk, mountain lion, black bear, gray wolf, bald eagle and other bird species.

Many mountain bike and horseback riders combine trail systems for a good days ride.
