Thunder Creek Trail
The Thunder Creek Trail is part of the Shedroof Divide Trails Complex, a series of remote, lightly used trails in the Salmo-Priest Wilderness in the most northeast corner of the state of Washington. As this is officially-designated Wilderness, intrepid hikers and equestrians will be treated to a pristine experience in one pf the most beautiful areas of the state. The Thunder Creek Trail itself is relatively short, clocking in at under three miles, but this connects you to directly to the Shedroof Divide.
Since this is Wilderness, certain restrictions apply, including the required use of certified weed-free hay or certified weed-free hay pellets for stock animals. Motorized or mechanical equipment, including chainsaw, bike, motorcycle, hang glider or cart use is prohibited in all wilderness areas. Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times.
