Red Bluff Trail
If you’re looking for a lightly-used backcountry trail that gets you into some beautiful (and sometimes unusual) flora and fauna, the Red Bluff Trail is for you. This is a 5.2 mile, one way trail. It is perfect for a one-night backpack trip, or extend the time you are out there and venture into the Salmo-Priest Wilderness. The trail is densely wooded with moderate to steep grades, but is well-maintained, thanks to volunteer groups like the Washington Trails Association and the Back Country Horsemen.
