Kettle Falls Recreation Area Trail
The Kettle Falls Recreation Trail begins near the Kettle Falls Marina. Look for the trailhead just to the south of the driveway near the RV pump station. If you venture the entire length of the trail, it is near 3.5 miles of, primarily, a compacted gravel path that crosses several bridges and meanders through areas that, depending on the water level of Lake Roosevelt, may or may not be under water. For a special treat, take a sidetrip to the west toward the Locust Grove Group Camp and take a look at the interpretive signs pointing out the location of some of the buildings that made up Old Kettle Falls before they had to move out due to Grand Coulee Dam causing the formation of Lake Roosevelt
