You’ll find the start to this short, 1/8 of a mile paved trail at the Headquarters of the 40,198 acre Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge. Park near the map kiosk and head south. The path will take you to an overlook of the Little Pend Oreille River, with expansive easterly views of the meadows surrounding the area. This is a lovely spot to sit quietly and watch for wildlife.
