Canyon Creek Trail #93

The Canyon Creek Trail is a 1-mile long, flat, paved trail that winds along the north side of Sherman Creek. There is a trail head and parking at either end of the trail, you can start at the Log Flume Heritage Site and enjoy the short .4 mile long interpretive trail that tells about the history of logging in the area. The trail head here is found at the west end of the parking lot. The terminus of the trail to the west is the Canyon Creek Campground trail head. The trail crosses a bridge, and you’ll find several benches to stop along the way and enjoy the sound of the creek as it wanders eastward. This is also a great place to spot wildlife coming to the creek for a drink, as well as the many birds that call Sherman Creek home.
