Big Meadow Lake is located on the Colville National Forest in western Pend Oreille county. This lovely recreation area includes a no-fee campground, ADA- accessible fishing dock, an 1/8th mile paved, ADA accessible trail, a replica homestead building , a lookout tower and Meadow Lake Trail. This easy 1.5 mile trail takes you around Big Meadow Lake, which is popular with kayakers and bird watchers. Keep your eyes peeled, you just may spot a moose wading near the shore.
