Take the Leona Trail to the Kettle Crest Trail for impressive views of the Kettle Range

Leona Trail #49

dog-icon--brownmap-information Leona Trail

Description: The Leona Trail #49 connects to the Kettle Crest Trail after 1.65 miles. It takes off from there to scale Mt Leona to a spring and a patch of big trees then loops back down to the Kettle Crest Trail. The access trail is easy and follows an old road for the first half mile. The loop trail up Mt Leona is a much steeper climb and not as well maintained. Hiking a combination of Leona Trail #49,  and Kettle Crest (North) National Recreation Trail #13 makes for a 6 mile loop with nice views and exercise.
