Leona Trail #49
The Leona Trail #49 is a moderately difficult 1.65 mile trail that connects to the Kettle Crest Trail. The first half-mile of the trail is along an old road. Once the Leona Trail intersects with the Kettle Crest Trail, hikers can scale Mt Leona to a spring and a patch of big trees then loops back down to the Kettle Crest Trail. This portion of the trail is steeper and not as well maintained as the half-mile connector trail. On a clear day the Cascade Mountains are visible to the west.
