Gillette Ridge Trail System
The Gillette Ridge Trail System offers grand views along most of its length. It is a multi-use trail constructed for single track motorcycles, but be prepared to share the trail with hikers and mountain bikers. It has 13.1 miles to offer which includes two connecting loop routes. If you are looking for a longer ride or hike on the mountain, these loop routes will provide you with fun additional excursions.
The trail is a moderate to difficult traverse and offers three separate access points. (Rogers Mountain, Clinton Creek and Onion Creek) Rogers Mountain has evidence of an old fire lookout to explore and the view of Aladdin Valley to the East is breathtaking.
Recommended season for traversing the trail is late Spring to mid Fall when you can enjoy identifying all of the fresh new wildflowers and wildlife which includes whitetail deer, elk, black bear and wolves.
