Description: The McDowell Marsh Environmental Education Trail, located in the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge is a 1.2 mile hardened path offering universal accessibility over the first half. The trail is an ADA-accessible trail that features a self-guided narrative with brochures geared to multiple learning levels. A boardwalk and a unique elevated observation blind that allows views of five different ecological habitats, from semi-arid to riparian.
